migmitI've just got confirmation of my bias (read: hatred) of messengers that ask for a phone number.
Specifically, Viber just told me somebody whose phone number was in my contacts changed their number.
Now, I've never ever had a Viber conversation with that person. I didn't know they had Viber in the first place. I'm pretty certain that person never thought of notifying me of their number change; I'm not sure I'm still in their contact list (maybe I am, maybe not). Why the hell did Viber tell me? While it's definitely not the case here, sometimes people change their phone number to escape an annoying caller. That's a serious breach of trust, people.
